Cover at iPad3 checkout new or same old one?

I clicked through so quickly trying to beat the server crashes and ordered one of the covers that showed up after selecting the iPad.

Is this a newly designed cover for the iPad 3 or is it the same old one? I picked a $69 black leather one.

Same question here. Are the Smart Covers new or the same as iPad 2?

If you look at smart covers separately, it says it is compatible with both 2nd and 3rd generation, so they're the same covers.
