I just tried to cover each individual lens on the 14 Pro and all sorts of weird bugs happen? If I cover the main camera, I can still use 1x but it looks like ****. If I use the 0.5x and cover the main camera, the picture gets worse. Same with the 3x. Wth is going on? I want to use the camera I pick and not a mix of them all!? What is going on

You might accidentally also cover the LiDAR that helps with the focus.
The iPhone also seems to use the different cameras to compose the best photo it can (or think it can), with AI and different processing, depending on lighting etc.

Hahaha! No, there’s no reason. I just thought it was interesting 😅 that the software knows that the camera is covered
