Just was thinking, now that Leopard will have coverflow everywhere, can a multi-touch mac be that far behind. It looks like they are gradually getting us accustomed to all this eye candy. Right now, it just seems kinda cool, but pointless. However, I see a time in the not to distant future where coverflow, stacks, quicklook, expose, and some other features will be key user input methods in a touch screen mac.

I like how this sounds. And in fact, that sound plausible, but throw in a touch screen and the price will jump a little, so we could see that when touch screen prices drop. I'd love for that to happen, but there are a lot of thoughts invoked by Apple's innovations, but touch screens look like the future.

We'll have to see how the overall response of the iPhone is and how people react to Multi-touch.

It will be adapted to iPods before it ever comes to a Mac.

I don't think that it will happen very soon, but I could see multi-touch as a main feature of 10.6 or 10.7.
