The attractions looked silly at first, but then I thought it was an interesting concept to place it in the 1800s. Didn't they do a Twilight Zone like this?

Probably one of the stupidest SciFi concepts since Plan 9 from out of Space.

Not really much less ridiculous than any alien invasion movie where modern man manages to stop and defeat the aliens. Which is about as realistic as the legions of the Roman Empire and the Roman Navy. Stopping a modern military invasion using bombers, fighters, tanks, battleships, aircraft carriers, heavily armed infantry &c.

That being said it will probably be fun to watch like Independence Day.

It looks like a pure, unspoilt piece of awesome.

And if you look closely, you can make out a strange, unidentified object in the upper right hand corner of this picture. Clearly, these Cowboys were not alone out there...

July 29th just seems so far away...

I think it will be interesting to see. I mean who is to say, Aliens didn't visit us waaaaaay back when. :D

If I remember correctly this is based off a comic book/graphic novel. Should be interesting to say the least.

Unless I'm missing something, or I'm having those pesky hallucinations agin - I think you mean upper left corner.

He's dyslexic.

And I doubt the saucer would hang-around for one of those pics.

Everyone usually had to hold their position for many seconds.

I know, I was there, in the wagon.

It's a catchy title, but there's nothing about it that makes me want to put it on my must see list. But I will remember to scan the reviews when it hits the theaters.

Kind of a pointless concept, I would have thought. Wouldn't a cowboy's reaction to an alien be the same as a 21st century office worker's?

Cavemen and Aliens lol

The movie is based on a graphic novel Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. Although it the pairing seems a bit strange, I agree with what Steven Spielberg said about the movie; why not? Aliens have been connected with our history before such as with ancient Egyptians.

Thank God it wasn't about Cavemen and Aliens. I can only imagine there would be no other outcome other than a 2001: A Space Odyssey story. Unless perhaps Ringo Star and Dennis Quaid did an Aliens and Cavemen movie.

Atook aluna aliens!!!
:D

I think it's a great concept... the execution, no so great.

Anybody catch this one yet? It is getting very mixed reviews on Rotten Tomatos. I think I am going to sit this one out and wait for video.

I thought it was pretty bad, unfortunately. Loooong. The plot develops slowly. For the most part, the action & aliens take a long time to show up. Once they do it all felt pretty generic. If I had been at home instead of a theater I would have been asleep less than an hour into the movie (and probably my dreams would have been more fun).
