CPU temp sensor

I've a problem with my Mac Pro 4.1 to 5,1 X5950 single cpu.

I've tried different programs for monitoring the CPU temp but none of them seem able to see it.

what to do?? 😵



anyway is strange because if I launch cineBench or other intensive apps the fans revs up correctly 😕

Did you reset SMC and PRAM yet?

I have this issue as well using certain hardware monitors, although it's a native 5,1. I think it's the software you are using. I can read the temperature in Windows.

Have you tried iStat Menus?

You could try Mac Fan Control. It's free and shows a bunch of temperature readings...

anyway PRAM end SMC already resetted....

well... I will stay with Macs fan control thank you guys! 🙂
