Well then, have your company build you a MacBook Pro, and don't pay them if it isn't "perfect".

Seriously, some of the whining on this board just blows me away. The kids whining about shipping delays on their custom builds is pathetic. And this rant about "cracks" is just as weak.

Did you buy the thing to put it in a showcase, or to use it? Quit looking at it through the Hubble Telescope and get back to work.

Youre supposed to get what you pay for. Apple computers are a hell of a lot more expensive than other options and should be held to a higher quality standard. With Apple's large margins they should be able to handle a looser return policy on defects.

I had the same problem when i bought mine a year ago. I had a few when i took it out of the box but i thought they were just minor scratches. Now they are all over the entire hinge and peeling. I have them on the back part of the hinge too. Its really bad. I was wondering if anyone else has had this same problem. I'm hoping apple will fix it. I got mine from the apple store

No one is forcing you to read this thread! Its a thread to help people figure out what bothers them about their macs. Now if this is an issue for you simply don't read it. Maybe you should be doing something more productive with your time than reading these "whinings". If you don't have anything productive to say, please refrain from undermining the issues and concerns of the people who are trying to find solutions to their problems.
