so a few days ago I was cleaning my iPod screen and in the corner there's either a deep scratch, or very small crack. I can stuck my finger nail in between it so I'm sure what it is. And with how small the line is I'm not sure how likely it is to be a crack. I did drop my iPod once in the same corner pretty good, though in a silicon case. Any ideas what it is?

Looks like a crack in the glass that hasn't moved yet, so it's barely visible. It also looks like you have multiple cracks in that corner, like rings in a tree. Are you missing a piece of glass right where the glass meets the body?

Scratches are usually straight, they are rarely curved. You did say you dropped it so I guess cracked.

Does look like a crack. You mentioned using a silicon case, does it include a screen protector? If not, buy one and install it on the iPod right away to keep the broken piece from moving.
