I dot actually think that's creepy at all myself. That's what I'd do of I bought an iPad and sold it on CL. No returns allowed, but take comfort knowing its real, but I get paid first before you open.

Go to 7-11 and buy a Pepsi. Same thing happens there too.

On second thought, Yeah! that is definitely some CL B.S. !!! if this guy wants your $$$ first before letting you examine the device, I'd forget it! the money exchange usually happens after allowing the buyer to examine the device first...

If you do want to a make a deal with this guy, bring a Muscular Friend along just in case this guy decides to rip you off !!!

So if it were reversed you would let the prospective buyer open the sealed wrapped box, take it out to check it out, then possibly change their mind and leave BEFORE taking their payment? Now your valuable "new factory sealed" iPad has just dropped in value. I don't blame the guy. That's one of the things to consider when buying off CL.

Again. I've sold things on CL just fine, but I didn't demand them to slap down the money before they could open my iPad in original boxing. Don't think I'd go that route myself for this guy's iPad, but clearly "busy tomorrow" means he's getting the iPad on Friday and trying to make a fast buck. Nothing to see here.
