ok. 10lbs is a an exaggeration but they weigh about 5 pounds each and they take up a lot of space in my bag and with binders and such. but if i just put in 2 textbooks,1) no space left in bag,2) feels like it weighs a ton and in its current condition, my bad is gonna rip if i put that much strain on it. LOL as far as weight goes, not too good at guessing weight. checked on amazon for the weight. about 5 lbs.

My BS detector is going off. Are these textbooks or family Bibles?

But to help with your problem - buy a rollaround briefcase. I use one daily, and it's a huge relief on my shoulders compared to my old over-the-shoulder briefcase.

Maybe things have changed since I was in HS, but this was NOT the "coolest" option at my school lol. I know, I know, who cares how "cool" it is, but we are talking HS after all

I always laugh when I see rollaround breifcases at highschool (they all have hellokitty on them :p) also it is not that great either, traveling from floor-to-floor it can get tiring.

Aah, I'd probably laugh at any briefcase or backpack with Hello Kitty on it. :p Mine's all black. And yes, stairs do kinda defeat the purpose.

Lol yeah but the one's people have it looks like hello kitty is walking behind them lmao

I guess yours looks proper then? Yeah stairs totally kill it, and most people have classes on different floors

Dakine or Quiksilver.

Basically, look for Snowboarding/Skateboarding manufacturers, I have a Quiksilver bag which is pretty big, has space for a MBP (15 at most, someone at work tried a 17, didn't fit), a couple of big textbooks, rugby kit, and a sandwich in the top.

It's what I use for work on tuesdays and thursdays (when I'm going to rugby training after work - obviously!

rly?hmm, i checked dakine's bag line up and their bags don't seem to spacious. my current adidas bag sucks but it does have a decent amount of space to hold stuff. like at least 30L of space. also checked quiksilver. looks good.so its
swiss gear
quiksilver
and dakine. may get a jansport but most seem to be aimed towards girls. whatever.. anyways
i think i'll go for either dakine or swiss gear.
