Yeah I know, not the most stable setup in the world. Running 2 preview products. But I am curious if it is possible my issues are caused by just doing an upgrade instead of a clean install.

So in Word 2016 preview one repeatable issue I have is that there is no print preview. Excel 2016 is much worse off, although there is a print preview. Every single time I try to use the split screen feature it crashes. Also just crashes randomly.

I will more than likely just go back to Yosemite. But if there is anyone else running Office 2016 preview with El Capitan, with no issues that could push me to try a clean install.

Other than that, it is working pretty well. I am a 2012 rMPB and although Yosemite wasn't slow, this is a very very nice bump in performance.

I haven't tried yet, one of my friends had the same issue. The Office apps' June update was issued today, that fixed her problems and the suite is working pretty well so far (Word/Outlook/Excel).

You sir are a beautiful person. I checked earlier today if there was an update and I was all set on going back to Yosemite when I got home. I will install the updates and report back incase anyone else has the same problem.

Thanks again!

Greetings:

I have installed:

OSX 10.11 DP1
Microsoft Office 2016 Preview June Update (15.11)

I´m experiencing a lot of Ramdom Crashes in Microsoft Word, also i can´t select text in a proper way, and i can´t modify the margins by using the top ruler. The other big problem appears in Outlook now i´m not able to see my folders list.

see the attached images

This morning I installed the latest update to Outlook and the Folder View is messed up. I cannot see the names of the folder - although I can select them.

I'd assume that MS will need to update their apps for the changes in 10.11. Since Office is in beta, any new changes like that may not be seen for a while - especially since its to make Office work on a beta.

Another new problem...

Every time i received a new email the Outlook App crash and i need to open it again

we already know that are Betas, but not Pre- Alphas...

Thanks for the heads up on the issues on the June update. I'll make sure not to update since I use Outlook for my 9 to 5.

I have installed Office 2011, works like a charm. Waiting for update for Office 2016 preview

Thanks, I tried this earlier but got the warning saying it wasn't compatible and aborted. Just tried again...works great so far.

Instability in beta software running on a beta OS? Perish the very thought!

In seriousness, though, instability in the Office 2016 beta is scarcely news to my computer at least. It's frustrating how much nicer it is to work in than Office 2011, given its tendency to crash arbitrarily (instead of just when I close files like in Word 2011 ; )

Yeah even with the latest updates still experiencing all the issues listed here. So downloading 2011 again, really a bummer as 2016 is pretty dang nice.

I have this issue, as well. I though my graphic card driver was broken on Microsoft office.
