crash in iTunes 12 while editing OLD style

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum but…

Whenever editing an iTunes item using the OLDER way of editing a file (option-file menu-get info), iTunes will crash/quit with NO usual warning (application has quit unexpectedly…)


Anyone else experiencing this behavior? And why might this be?

Mid-2011 iMac, Yosemite, iTunes 12.0.1, nothing ordinary software wise
