This is the current CPU state, and the value of all it's registers.

    panic(cpu 2 caller 0x2aab55): Kernel trap at 0x00001001, type 14=page fault, registers:
    CR0: 0x80010033, CR2: 0x0000000c, CR3: 0x00100000, CR4: 0x00000660
    EAX: 0x0000000c, EBX: 0x00000000, ECX: 0x09cedb00, EDX: 0x09cedb80
    CR2: 0x0000000c, EBP: 0x5c03bc18, ESI: 0x09cedb80, EDI: 0x4633c000
    EFL: 0x00010246, EIP: 0x00001001, CS: 0x00000008, DS: 0x00000010
    Error code: 0x00000002

This is the low level instruction in memory that caused the panic
    0x5c03ba48 : 0x2aab55 (0x59623c 0x1001 0xe 0x596406)

Whatever instruction was carried out in 0x5c03ba48 : 0x2aab55 caused a panic, maybe a restricted memory location or just bad memory, have you replaced the RAM?

    MacBook Pro Crashes

I have a new MacBook Pro (2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Memory) with OS 10.6.6. I got it about three months ago and I have had to deal with intermittent problems with crashes like the original poster. I have Apple Care so I took it in and no hardware problems were found. The Apple tech support person thought maybe there was a problem with the memory or logic board. The hard drive was re-formatted and the OS was reloaded and it crashed again after working for a few days. I have also dealt with frequent Flash Player error messages that it crashed, and sometimes Safari will crash. The CD player has also been a problem. The Apple Care CD was ejected by the laptop but I can read it on my other iMac. Same with a music CD. The system CD's will work.

I am contacting Apple again, and I hope they will replace the RAM and/or the logic board. Has anyone else had this problem and replaced the RAM and solved the problem?

    Here is my error log:

    Kernel Panics

    com.eltima.ElmediaPlayer.kext

This could be causing the problem.

Uninstall Elmedia Player. Make sure the 'com.eltima.ElmediaPlayer.kext' kernel file is removed from the System/Library/Extensions folder.
