crashing on MBP + games

My mbp crashes in the middle of any game I play..osx or vista. In Vista, I play tiberium wars and it crashes in the middle of about 50% of my games. It freezes and I have to hard restart. In OSX, I installed WC3 and it also freezes and crashes in about 50% of my games. What could be the issue? How do I fix this?

It's not heat b\c I have smc fan control / input remapper (Vista) and a cooling pad
