I have Drop Box on all my PC's and Macs and Mac notebooks. When I run CrashPlan it is unnecessarily duplicating 13 GB of data when CrashPlan uploads to CrashPlan Central which takes a lot of time and I do not need all these copies of my Drop Box data.

How do I turn off backing up Drop Box on most of my machines?

    Thanks.

Start the Crashplan app on each machine then click the "Change" button I marked. Then navigate to your Dropbox folder under your username and uncheck Dropbox. That will stop Crashplan from backing up the Dropbox folder.

    Tom,

I would recommend keeping everything turned on. 16GB of data is trivial. Just do not worry about it. No reason to obsess over CP. It will finish.
