Riding (not driving) in car, hit a bump and almost spilled vodka w/ coke (yes, main ingredient was vodka) on it.

I usually try to keep mine safe, so being near alcohol is the most dangerous thing that happens to it. That and keeping it out while at football games.

last month exactly 1 month after picking up my phone on july 11 i was on the redeye flight back from japan and just as the plane was landing i realize i'd left my phone back at the hotel... i immediately called my travel agent and she got me a direct flight back to japan within the hour... 13 and half excruciating hours later im back in japan making a bee line through rush hour traffic to the hotel, just as im explaining to the receptionist my bag begins to vibrate....... it was my phone :p

haha...is that true?:D

I certainly hope not - 27 hours wasted + $2000 on the ticket, all for a $300 phone? Yeah, right - sounds really believable! ;)

Champagne

I was at a hotel in Miami, eating lunch at the poolside bar, and had my phone on the bar. The bartender opened up a bottle of Moet and Chandon, for someone else, and it sprayed all over me and the phone. The bartender picked it up and wiped it off, apologized profusely. I said, "hope it still works" and guess what, frozen screen. Hotel paid for new one. Old one was all scratched up, now I use a case.

Wow, at least they paid for a new one.

That sucks.

I would have been shaking like a fool from anger. Haha.

I had mine in my lap and when I got out of my car, it fell into my driveway and got scratched up. :(

The touch screen was slow to begin with I think, so I exaggerated and took it to the Apple Store. The guy said to get a new SIM card from AT&T and if it still didn't work he'd replace it. So then I went back and said I got a new SIM and it still didn't work. And he gave me a brand shiny new one! :D

I sprayed liquid all over it to install the Invisible Shield. That's about as "crazy" as I intend to be with it.

No, the craziest thing I did with my iPhone was probably that I wasted an hour of my life installing two Invisible Shields on a couple of iPhones. Then when they dried out, realised that they were utter crap. And then spent another half hour removing them and cleaning them up again.
