Crazy iTunes Store Pricing

I purchased Orphan Black Series 1 & 2, and was interested to see that Series 3 is now available.

The purchase price for Series 3 is £47.31, ouch pretty pricey. I won't bother, thanks. £20 would be a stretch.

The purchase price for all Series 1-3 is £42.99, less than the price of Series 3 on its own!

I can't help but wonder if some marketing idiot has really lost the plot.

hehe, that does sound random! I've ran into weird pricing for things before, but nothing on iOS yet.

Just wait till there is a sale. You may have to wait several months but here in the US, I have never paid more than $20 for a season of any show. Most seasons, I have paid just $9.99 by waiting.

I contacted Apple Support, and they agree 'it does appear to be overpriced'. I imagine we'll see an adjustment before long.

Since I first wrote, the price for series 3 kept escalating each day, almost £60 at one point. Now, a few days later, it's a sensible price, and I bought it.
