I called to ask if there was any chance my wife's SS PMB would arrive early. The rep basically said she didn't know. She wasn't very forth coming. I pushed a little harder and asked her if she knew why there was such a hold up and she said, "Well...they only leton like 2 boats out a China right now. So they 'aint much they could do."

My 15 year old son was in the car and started laughing. I forgot to ask her if that was 2 boats total or just 2 "Apple boats?";)

The Apple CSA in chat was obviously cutting a pasting response to my inquiries. It led the down the route of are you suggesting I cancel my order and place a new one. The response was "I'm glad you're excited about the Apple Watch. They are available for pre-order on the Apple Store." To be clear, I started with an order number. Eventually he/she stopped responding. I'm not sure if it's Siri on the other end of chat sometimes

i had that same encounter too because even though i'm still stuck in limbo the chat rep was chipper by saying isn't this so exciting... then at the end of the chat she ended it with go apple watch! Lol.

Why push her at all? You know she has no info that you want. All you're doing is putting her in the awkward position of having to say whatever she can to try and keep you from getting upset...people demanding info that these reps don't have eventually will push them to say strange things. I feel sorry for them come launch time, personally. Especially since we as Apple customers seem to be getting edgier the last couple of preorders. I won't even discount myself from that; I got irritated with the iPhone 6 preorder last year too.

Maybe we should start a thread documenting all the crazy things WE'VE been saying.
