anytime i open my black macbook i hear this creaking noise in like the hinges, i got it about 6 months ago so it is not that old, any ideas of what i could do about it??

yea

yea i probably started hearing it about a month ago, and i never dropped it or anything of that sort, it kinda just started randomly.

Mine had that straight out of the box, though after opening and shutting it a couple of times it subsided. I suppose the hinges were too tight and 'using' the notebook got rid of that. Maybe yours need oiling?

how?

i tried doing that with mine to thinking it would go away..and how in the would would u grease up one of these things with out ruining it.

The oiling bit of my post was to be taken with a grain of salt, sorry for the confusion. I can't see how that would be possible without dismantling it.

I don't think there's anything you can do about it.

If I go real slow with mine, I can make it sound creepy like a movie sound effect door opening.😛
