Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else was noticing something similar. On my new M1 Air, on the bottom case, I can feel a tiny bit of movement and it makes a creaking/cracking sound when I put firm pressure on one part of the bottom of the case. It's the area like right underneath the right command key. I can feel it push in a tiny bit, and then it creaks a little. It's otherwise firm, after it's pushed in it's solid, but still it's bugging me a bit. Wondering if anyone notices anything similar? Any creaking at all from the bottom shell? Thanks!

I just removed the backplate and reseated it, and the problem is diminished (but not gone).

It is amazing opening one of things things up. They truly are beautiful on the inside.

I confirmed that all of the plastic support structures for the bottom were intact, and everything looked perfect on the inside and exactly how it should be.

So, I'm no longer fussed about it. There is a wider gap on the right side between the track pad supports and the battery, on the left side there's a firm piece than runs down that that crack, so my guess is the bottom case actually is slightly more reinforced on the left side.

Really feels like it's mine now that I've opened it up 😂
