Creaking sound from bottom of Macbook Air 13

I searched and found a number of instances where people were experiencing a creaking sound from the bottom of their Macbook Air.

Is this still a common problem in the new Macbook Air's?

The open box Macbook I picked up is exhibiting the creaking noise from the bottom, below the keyboard. If I press the bottom or the sides of the laptop, I can hear a noticeable creaking.

Would Apple store be able to fix this?

Notice it at the bottom as well as near the trackpad on the left.

two questions there, but, register it with Apple and make an appointment at an Apple store. if they wont help you, then you keep it as is or return it.

That's nothing to worry about, wait a bit and it'll go away when the tiny Foxconn person who go trapped in your Macbook expires, to be replaced by a putrid odor which can be masked by sprinkling liberal amounts of after shave on the MBA.
