Creaky black plastic

Anyone else have this issue? If I run my fingers along the black plastic part below the word 'macbook' it creaks and there is a small amount of give on it. When I press down hard and run my fingers along it, it feels bumpy.

Thoughts?

I get this exact same thing! also as my macbook warms up the plastic expands and creeks about twice a night, its abit annoying 🙂

same here... I wonder if it's going to affect the screen/hinge over time?!?!
I'm so tempted to take it apart and check if something is just not lined up well 😀

I cant see there being an issue, i even thought of lubing it somehow as i'm sure its a plastic to plastic rubbing 😀
