    Hi,

I have been having problems with a program where it doesn't run well on my main user account and I'm tired of trying to fix something that I don't fully understand so I want to move on to the next step.

As I said the program doesnt run well on my mian account but no issues when run with a different user account.

What I would like to do is create a new account but some how transfer the setting from my old account so that programs such as iPhoto, iTunes etc continue to work, if possible.

Is there a way to do what I'm describing above?

Can someone be so kind and show me the best way to acomplish this?

    Thanks a lot

what you want is what i've just done.
try to fix permissions using disk utility first.
if not work, you don't need to transfer every things, otherwise you may not fix the problem.
just create a new account and copy your documents to the new home folder, and copy libraries for iTunes ,iPhoto ...
these should work fine, after that you can delete the old account.

    Thank you for your reply!

Do I need to some how relink libraries for those programs to work with the new account or it should work just by copying the files over?

    Thanks

no, after you create anew account, just copy the lib to the account
iTunes & iPhoto will detect the lib automatically
