macOS Create files from a list

Apologies if this is too basic. I've created an Automator workflow to ingest files of one type (m4v) and create a new file (html)(this just points to the media file). It's a clunky process and doesn't work too well. I'm looking for a script to attach to a folder that can work with many files at once.

Any resources or pointers are greatly appreciated!
