Create keyboard backlit not working

I just received my Logitech Create Backlit keyboard and the backlit is not working. Everything else works. The keyboard buttons work when waking up the app switcher. Any ideas?

mine worked out of the box without having to do anything special. I'd exchange it.

I just might have to. Luckily I have until Jan 8th. So far my local Apple Stores are all out of the create so an exchange may be difficult

no issues with the one i use either. nothing special to do. i would make sure the 3 connectors line up well (which i am sure you have done).

maybe hit up logitech and see if they have a "factory reset" procedure or some other way to test the backlight/keyboard functions...

Silly question - but did you press the backlight button on the keyboard?

I did yes. Those were the buttons that did not work. The volume buttons worked, brightness works, power/home button works at times.
