Possible? My Mac OS is broken (failed update to ML DP 3 gave me the OS not set kernel dump at startup), but luckily I have Boot Camp and the Windows partition works fine. So I'm trying to re-install lion but Recovery HD won't appear after holding command + R. Is there a way to create a recovery partition through my Windows partition?

You'd have to burn the Lion DVD image to a DVD and boot from that.
