Hi everyone,

I cloned the Windows partition using Winclone in order to make this partition larger. In the meanwhile, I upgraded to Lion.

Now when I try to create a partition with Boot Camp 4.0 to restore the winclone image I have, Boot Camp asks me for the Windows 7 cd...

I didn't bring with me the cd nor the Windows 7 installer image: all I have is the Winclone image.

How can I create a partition and restore the Winclone image?

I spent hours looking on the web and trying different things without success.

Thank you so much for your help

Boot Camp Assistant Wants DVD

I ran into this same problem. I solved it by putting in the Win 7 upgrade DVD. It didn't even have to be the full install disc. (My full install disc is Win XP).

Can you possibly borrow a DVD? That's about the only thing I can think of. You could try making a partition with Disk Utility (which does do non-destructive partitioning) and use FAT for the filesystem. Then copy everything over and cross your fingers.

I don't have any idea if this would work. Good luck
