    Hi,

Our team at work has just been given two iPads. They're shared devices and we want to have the same apps on each, etc. We already have a shared Gmail account so my plan was simply to create an Apple ID using this same address.

Unfortunately, I can't get very far. I can enter the email address and pick a password, but then I'm asked for things like date of birth and name of first pet, which of course aren't relevant once you have multiple people.

I've done some searching and can't figure out how to create a team account, but perhaps I'm using the wrong search terms. Can anyone advise how to accomplish this?

    Thanks :)

Since you're creating this for the team and not an individual, just make up answers, as long as you remember what answers you used. Make sure the birth date makes the new account holder over 18 or 21 years old.

While that would work, is it really the only way? Surely Apple has thought of this...

Like other things, Apple hasn't made iCloud fully "friendly" with things like business use or family use. It's the only method I've heard of, as there is no other method of Apple ID registration available.

There is no way to do what you want that I am aware.

Like previous posters said, you can answer "Dave" to all answers and pick a birthdate of the team lead.

Teams, families, etc seem to be out of the realm currently with this scenario and I do not know why.

However, they have a school solution so they have thought of it at a higher level of user base.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like it's time to dream up a history for our team :)
