Hi everyone,

I am looking into creating my first app, something basic to start off just to go through the process once and learn the ins and outs of the building/releasing process. I have a few questions for those that are already involved in this:

1- Do I need to create a company/LLC in order to release an app?

2- How can I find a reliable developer that will do the programming for reasonable prices and also not steal any of my ideas?

3- Is there any way to compile the code on PC? Or do I need to buy a MAC? Also, what programming language is mainly used for apps? Are there any sites/softwares which simply let me create the interface and then compiles the code for me on the backend?

Those are the questions I can think of for now.

Any other help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!:apple:

You don't need to create a company, though if you want to put your app on the Mac app store you will need to buy Apple's $99-dollar-a-year developer program (though download the Xcode developer tools are free)

(a) you will probably not be able to use any software the compiles a Mac App on a PC, as the programming is totally different. If you would like to create a Mac app, you will need a Mac.

(b) the main types of programming are Objective C, C++, and Java (someone please add if I'm missing some :D)
