How long does it usually take on a mbp ?

I swear its been doing it for at least 25 mins 😕

Thanks for any help given.
 
This is an old thread. Anyway in my iMac 3.06 Ghz Alu takes quick few seconds in MBP Unibody 2.53 Ghz takes 5 mins
