I would like to create a Smart-search of any folders I've recently opened and thought this would do the trick:

[Last opened date] is [within last] [1] [days]
[kind] is [folder]

and I've clicked on the "Data last opened" column in the Finder window to sort it, showing the most recently opened folder at the top. But it doesn't quite work. A quick test seems to reveal that whatever is opened within the "Library" folder is omitted. Why is that, and is there a way to include it?

Also, regarding the date: "within last 1 days" won't work very well if you for instance search for something right after midnight. I wish there was an option for "hours". Is there a workaround?

There are boolean conditions for hidden and system folders. Try adding those too.
