Hello, I am brand new to developing applications for the iPhone, and I want to create an application for a previously running application that people can submit their usernames and codes to.

I basically want them to fill this out:

    Username:
    Code:
    Type:

Then they submit it. Once completed, they can view the rest of the data in which they can find other usernames and codes.

I know it is VERY simple, but I am brand new. Does anybody believe they can help me out with this one?

Also, if you know of a tutorial that can help me, PLEASE leave the link for that also! Feel free to PM me if you want to help me with this, I may even pay a little but of cash to whoever can help me complete this task!

    Thanks!

Submit it to what? what your talking about is a web server with a database backend. You also have marshaling of data to be uploaded and then parsed and then downloaded.

It would not need internet, you open the app you see this: (obviously i would spend time on it...)

After you click on an of the buttons, it takes you to a new page:

You could submit your code, the information goes to a data base, then the other users can view the data base with no internet required.

Where is the database hosted? For people to submit their code, and others download them, you'll have to have some sort of online database...so they'd need internet.

Where do you perceive this database resides and where, in terms of the network, do you perceive these "other users" to be?

    Wow... All Wrong

If your a beginner than you need something a lot simpler. Setting up an application such as this requires an online data base, PHP MySQL. Much more than c++ or what ever your using. And Creating a program to access all of this and interact with a web server is not for beginners at all. You are not going to fin a tutorial for this because its not that simple. I suggest starting with something MUCH simpler.
