I believe the answer is no, but want to see if I'm just missing something.

On my macs, I will oftentimes drag an email to my calendar to create an event. I use this a lot for knowing when shipped items will arrive at my house. The advantage of doing this is that I can click on the event & see the link to the email, which I can then open. I cannot figure out any way to replicate this functionality on the iPad. Is this just not an option or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks in advance.

You can also drag and drop an email into the calendar app. It will then create an event or you can change it to a task before saving it.

Thanks, this is exactly what I was trying to do on my ipad & it wouldn't work. After your message, I thought maybe it's something with the way I was doing it. I was able to set the calendar on one half of the display & mail on the other & do just as you mentioned.

I must have been doing something wrong before, but this is exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, if you take a screenshot of the email. Add to calendar button is at the bottom of the screenshot.

I think on ipadOS too you can open the email and then split screen to calendar and drag drop that way too. But both methods should work. The method i screenshot is for iOS.
