Sorry as this could well be a duplication but i honestly don't know how to effectively use the search engine here.
My wife is fronting a halloween party and I'm in charge of the music at the outdoor event.
There's an appropriate album for sale on iTunes that's taken my fancy.
But, I've heard that you cant replicate the music and export to disc, something i'd need to do to play at the venue.

Is is possible to back up my purchase from iTunes???:eek::eek:

First, it sounds like you really want to burn CDs using iTunes so that you can play the CDs at your event.

You have to create a playlist in iTunes then add the music you wish to burn to a CD in this playlist. At the bottom is a burn button and that will burn the music that you have in the playlist onto a CD. When you press that burn button, a popup will appear allowing you to change settings for the CD that you wish to burn including adding CD text.

You mentioned backing up the music. There is a way in iTunes, but it's not what you think. Backing up the music in iTunes will do only that. It will copy all the music onto CDs or DVDs but these disks won't be playable on any player because they are only for backup purposes in case your drive crashes or you accidentally delete something.

If you need anymore help, just ask.

Yes, you can burn purchased music to a audio CD, but may be limited to burning a specific playlist a certain number of times.
