Creating local DNS server on Mini with Snow Leopard? (not OS X Server)

Tried running some instructions from MacWorld that were for Tiger, but it doesn't seem to work.

Anybody know how to create a local DNS server on a Mac Mini running Snow Leopard?

You're going to have to download some DNS software if it's not already installed, such as BIND, and then configure it.

I see you use DJBDNS on all of your machines.

It wasn't clear to me from your page what the differences and advantages are. Is that easy to explain?

I ran the process as explained on MacWorld's Mac OS X Hints that you linked to, but it doesn't seem to work on Snow Leopard.
