Creating my own bluetooth headphones?

I have a pair of Bose on-ear headphones (http://www.bose.com/controller?url=.../audio_headphones/on_ear_headphones/index.jsp), and am interested in using them with the A2DP from the iPhone 3GS. Is there some kind of bluetooth receiver I can add on the end of the headphones to make them pick up my iPhone's signal?

Found one (JK Audio RemoteAmp Bluetooth Wireless Headphone Amp). Not exactly inexpensive, but it's available, and will do what you want according to the product description. 🙂

Why would you do this when it is easier and cheaper to just plug them into the iPhone?

WAYYY out of my price range. I was just thinking as long as the feature was available I would really like bluetooth headphones if I could find a cheap way of implementing it. $395 is not an option

Well you can get it for $348USD, as if that's really much better. 😛

Seriously, you'd be better off just getting a separate bluetooth headphone set you like and is in budget. Multiples available, so you can hopefully find something you like. 🙂

And that's if you've made up your mind that you have to have bluetooth to begin with. 😉 😀

As geoffreak mentioned, just live with the cord, and see how it does (I'm not sure if the iPhone can handle the power requirements of that set, and Bose didn't give the power requirements on the product page). 😕
