iPod touch Creating New Events with Set Calendars in Ipod Calendar

I have 5 calendars on my ipod touch that I have synced with my Ical program which I have then synced from Google Calendars. My question was:

1. Is there a way to create an event inside the Ipod touch using one of the categories already listed??

When I create one another category labeled simply as "Calendar" is created and there is no way to change it to anything besides this as far as I can tell.

Since they are all synced via google onto my ipod touch all the calendars on there end with [Guitarfool5931@gmail.com]

The reason for me doing this is I have a music recording studio set up and I want to keep one of my calendars publicly displayed on google for them to set up appointments with me. There is a lot of syncing going on and I am also looking into syncing with Microsoft Entourage instead of Apple Mail since I already own the Office programs. Any opinions?
