I want to create some way that I can click a link without having to open my browser first. The easiest way is to drag favicons to the dock, which would be a bit much with all my bookmarks. Another way I thought of doing it was to create a stack folder and fill that with links. Two problems here are that I'll have to drag all my bookmarks in there and I'll have to update it anytime I add or remove a site.

I was just wondering if thee was an app that did any of this for me? Perhaps a little menubar app that dropped down a list or something?

    Quicksilver does it all :)

The most stable Leopard version (IMO) can be found here:

Just install the Safari / Firefox plugin depending on your browser than invoke QS and search your bookmarks.

You can also drag an URL to your desktop. This makes a clickable link.
