iPod Creative

I recently took the plunge and swapped over to a mac, and its all going well apart from the fact that i cant use my old mp3 player on my mac. its a creative zen v. my mac wont even recognize it at all. is there anyway i can use it. I had a terrible time with ipods and i don't want to buy another one.

any help/thoughts would be great.
