Some of you may know of a program called Teleport on the Mac that is basically a software KVM.

The creator of this application, Julien Roberts has been working for Apple since 2004 so the question is, why hasn't Apple implemented this feature into their system? I'm currently running the Lion version but it seems to have some bugs unlike its earlier version under Leopard and SL.

    Thanks for letting me rant.

I have never seen that software but it is very cool. It is similar to AirDisplay not being native.

I agree, sort of. It's indispensable IF you have two Macs working near each other. Not sure how many of us do that, but I suppose many households have a laptop and desktop.

I suspect Apple thinks it's just a hair too geeky. Or maybe they want their employee to earn a little $$ on the side. Ok by me; it's a great utility.
