It means shipping is very soon. But coming from China they will not arrive to your doors step until Apple wants them too.

Mine was charged right away but black has a 23-30 date and the silver has a 10-3 to 10-7 delivery date

Usually when a CC is charged, it will ship within 18-24 hours. Thats how it has been for past iPhones for me. Also, Apple Watch last year.

I got two separate charges. The tax charge was by apple, and no movement occurred. Then citizens charges my first month. Then it showed up in my apple support profile. Then I checked my UPS account, and it showed it was shipped, last checked. The apple app still showed preparing for shipment..
