so i had a Blue leather loop on pre order since April 11. On Friday May 15 Apple tried to charge my credit card but it was denied. I recently had my credit card updated so it couldn't process with the old one. I got a email from apple to fix it and it should process again. So i fixed it and now there is no update but the same suck in processing with the same delivery date of May 23-June 1.

Anyone know what the process is.. Do i just wait. Did i get bumped to the back of the line?

I actually had a similar issue. Was charged on May 11th. Must've mistyped the security code or something in the wee hours of April 10th. I updated the card the next day. Was charged again (automatically) on May 14th. And it just went into Preparing for Shipment today.

One a day last week, I did speak to online chat, who was able to tell me that the charge did go through and th ball would be rolling again. Hope this helps.

What were your original delivery dates ? 5/23-6/1 doesn't sound like you got bumped to the back of the line. The back of the line is July.

Mine was originally May 13-27 for the 42mm Stainless Steel with Link Bracelet.

So it seems that as long as you update the card within a week, that watch is still remains allocated to you.

yes i still got the same delivery date of 5/23-6/1 i was thinking it got bumped to the back of this group.

This concerns me. My credit card that I used to purchase on 4/13 has an updated security code and expiration date now. What can I do now to ensure things won't go wrong when it comes time to charge me?

I've updated my card info on my Apple account.

I had the exact same thing happen.

Less than 12 hours before Apple charged me, my card was shut off for fraud and my card was declined for the purchase.

It'll be good, take a deep breath and step away for a minute. My delivery was only delayed by a day (I had to wait until UPS gave my my card, which was ~18 hours) but didn't reflect until much later after I entered in the new details. According to the phone support, you have 7 days to add new info before your order is cancelled and you're bumped back.

I thought maybe I got bumped out of line, too, but it looks like it takes a minute (hours, maybe even 10+ for me) for the process to go through

I moved house between ordering and delivery, was having the watch delivered to my office to avoid issues but the billing address... I moved then a week after initial deliveries I still hadn't had it so I contacted Apple and got the order billing address updated and then updated the address at my card company (I still had possession of the old house and had mail forwarding going)..

Apple updated the billing address and I got an email saying so but the web site said the old address..

2 days later it still showed the old address and I phoned Apple again and they said the address was updated... I'm guessing they display the site using a replicated reporting database or something.

Then, finally, sat in a meeting I get a text from my card company saying they have blocked my CC and one of the billing item is Apple..

I might have showed slight panic, answered Y to all my transactions shown in the text then was straight on the phone after the meeting to confirm the transaction went through.

The watch arrived 2 days later :)
