Crooked BestBuy

Iphone 8 64GB at Bestbuy at full price is going for $799.00 and the same from apple is going for $699.00...am I missing something here?

Based on my many experiences with Best Buy (Elite Member here), I really think they are just a bunch of unorganized, minimum wage buffoons with no idea that their prices are not consistent. The only reason I shop Best Buy as much as I do is convenience.

I can picture this one smart guy sitting at their corporate headquarters in a cubicle, manipulating prices on his corporate computer. The rest of the Best Buy staff is clueless, or very well trained in saying "I don't know" Or "that is weird" when you question a price.

Over one of the holidays I went in there expecting them to price match like they always do, but was told they suspended price matching until after the holiday. That one corporate smart guy is a tricky dude.

I often find their online and in store prices do not match up. They have no clue why there is a discrepancy (Or at least act that way). But if you intend on buying, go in with web page at the ready. They will price match.

You say that like the pock-faced baboons are setting the prices.

The powers that Be know exactly what they’re doing.

I agree, the powers that be are the ones manipulating the prices, but the pock-faced baboons are the ones selling the stuff, and they really are walking around scratching themselves without a clue as to what the powers that be are doing. So when you go into a store and attempt to clarify, you will get a range of responses.
