Is there a simple way that I'm missing to crop a photo taken in portrait orientation to landscape? I have photos of my kids that I want to crop to landscape to use as wallpapers on my MacBook Air. I see I can rotate them 90 degrees, but then they're sideways, and I can't use the spin to rotate feature to move it more than 45 degrees or so. I see I can also choose the different aspect ratios, but none that will easily let me turn it to landscape.

1. Tap the icon for crop/rotate, then move the top or bottom cropping guide to create a rough landscape shape.

2. Choose a preset aspect ratio from the list which will now be showing landscape ratios.

3. Finally, move/zoom the photo until you get it just the way you want it and hit done.

Thank you! Any idea which aspect ratio would be best to use for MacBook wallpapers?

No problem!

From a quick google, it seems that the MacBook Air 11” has a 16:9 ratio, and the 13” has 16:10.

Edit: Puonti beat me to it! :)
