Crossover games question

    I have a macbook pro 1 inch with 2.4 dual core 2 and a nvidia 8600 i was wondering why i get only 15 fps in both CS:S and CS 1.6 for steam its very weird thanks for help if anyone can contribute i've been trying to fix it for days unless i just need to use boot camp

    if you use boot camp i would say you would get at least 32FPS stable, with crossover i would use for just small programs like i would run utorrent or prime 95, i am not a big fan of it or any of the wine projects i would just dump it

    Wine works OK

    Wine has been good and bad for me. Guildwars runs really well under Crossover, and it handles MS Office 2003 ok.

    I use Wine on Linux to run older games that really have trouble running under XP. In some cases it is more compatible than XP for older stuff.
