Crossover vs. Bootcamp

    I know i know another one, i looked and didnt see one answering my question...

    I play counter strike source in cross over and wanted a comparison with someone using boot camp

    at 1440x900 i get between 25-100 frames depending on map,players, with settings on medium trilinier filtering

    While not having specific numbers to back it up you should be seeing better performance in BootCamp as you are actually playing in a Windows environment as opposed to emulating it.

    Maybe this is incorrect, but I guess that the actual Windows APIs will serve better than Codeweaver's backwards engineering :)

    MacBook Pro = gaming faster in windows

    MacBook = gaming faster in CrossOver for many supported games

    No, not many games..very few actually. If it supported more games I might actually think of using it instead of bootcamp, but since it only supports 19 games, its not worth it. And alot of the games are old.
