CrossOver vs VMware Fusion ?

    How does CrossOver for Mac compare to VMware Fusion

    when you want to run a few windows apps
    for example, Netflix streaming video ?

    From what I understand CrossOver is very limited in what it can do and apps that are compatible

    Crossover just implements a framework. VMWare runs an OS. They're incomparable. VMWare > Crossover in the sheer number of things you can do.

    What about just streaming movies from the Netflix website ?

    Netflix for mac is in testing and will be coming shortly.

    The Crossover website has a list of PC apps that are presently working under it and the level of compatibility that has been achieved, so the best thing to do would be just to scan through the list and see if it is supported and to what degree.

    has anyone tried the Netflix streaming for Mac Beta ?
