i really perfer not having windows partitioned just for cs:s, WIll crossover( new osx app that runs windows progs without windows) support this game(or other steam games to for that matter?

Crossover Office isn't meant for games, even though some do work.
CS:S seems to work on Linux via a different method, using Transgaming Cedega, which is meant for games.
I guess we'll have to wait for Crossover to be released to really know.
