My TV's native resolution is 720p. It will accept 1080p input, but it converts it to 720p output. There is a noticeable difference in clarity/sharpness between the two, with 720p input looking the best.

It's really annoying that Crossy Road changes the resolution to 1080p every time it launches. If I switch to settings to change resolution back to 720p, Crossy Road won't synchronize with the TV properly.

This seems pretty basic, so I'm hoping someone has a workaround. Thanks!

I had this issue, exacerbated by the fact that my TV *doesn't* handle 1080, even though it claims to...

In the end I edited the EDID information sent to the ATV to just remove 1080 modes entirely... so far this is working.

Sin, did you do this via your TV’s service menu? I think I’ve found it on mine, just curious…

I have a Samsung pn42c450 from 2010 and I don't see where I have the ability to change this setting.
