Hi a new S4 owner here. I am sorry if this is a crazy question, but if you take your watch off, hold it firmly your left hand while grabbing the crown with your thumb(towards the screen) and index finger(towards the sensor) - does the crown move slightly like a see-saw between the front and rear of the watch? You have push the edge towards the screen with your thumb and the one towards the finger with your finger. Its not a lot but I can feel it.

I’m talking about this movement https://i.imgur.com/HkOGI5P.jpg

The entire crown doesn’t move side ways. Just the edges moves if I use my finger to move it like a see saw between the front and back.

Its extremely minor movement. Not like the crown is about to fall off.

I hope this doesn't affect the water resistance of the watch.

There is zero wiggle in the crown of my AW S4. I can rotate or press it in firmly. But there is no play in it otherwise, back and forth or in and out.

ran into another post with a slightly similar issue - might be related to the one I am having?

If I tap the crown lightly with the tip of my fingers, I can feel the the crown move slightly making contact with the point of resistance where pushing further would push the 'button'. Is this standard behaviour? Just tap your crown lightly with the tip of the finger and see if you can 'feel' it

With mine, there's no give when I tap it or push lightly. If I push progressively harder, it eventually depresses suddenly with no slack/creep before the break.

We’ve seen threads like this many times. There’s no consistent answer regarding the Digital Crown wobble/side to side play/loose, etc. I think it comes down to different types of manufacturing inconsistencies, and as you can clearly see, some have no issues with the digital crown and others do, which shows you that the manufacturing specifications are not zeroed in.
