Gee, this is taking a long time. I haven't bought a new iMac in years, but I had expected to buy guaranteed memory from Crucial shortly after the iMac 2019 was released. With no word about the guaranteed version of the memory on their website, I called twice, but nobody seems to know much. It's been announced (in March), but...

So: does anybody know anything about this guaranteed business? How long it usually takes? And what the delay is all about?

Thanks! (Trying to edit with a wonderful new iMac with just 8GB internal memory.)

Check the thread what RAM to order for 2019 iMac. I'm using 64GB of the crucial RAM Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) DR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT2K16G4SFD8266 with no issues. I have been using this for 5 weeks even though Crucial's website says not compatible. Accepted right away and running at 2667MHz. Some Crucial reps have even said it's compatible on Amazon in response to customer questions.
I bought 2 x 16GB Crucial sticks like yours, and they work perfectly on my 2019 27" iMac.
